both are significantly warmer than any other boss delay out there so if you have one or the other i wouldn't worry about it.

i can say that i don't think the DM-2 is worth $75 more than the DM-3 (which is about the price difference on their ebay clearing prices). if i hadn't picked up my DM-2 under-valued in a trade, i doubt i would have gotten it.

I know what you mean. I got mine yesterday, and I've been searching for that pedal for like three years. I also got it for like 100$..

gee I must have over paid for mine cause it was $169 on e bay . Of course I saw a DM-2 that was a lot more.

There was absolutely a point where DM-2's were routinely going for around $250.

I wonder if the release of the RE-20 has anything to do with the percieved decline in price.

I don't care, I�ve used the DM-2 frequently for like 4 days now. I've been playing constantly... not frequently..

Folks... any DM-2 or DM-3 under about $170 in the USA at the moment is a good deal. $100 is a steal-of-a-deal.

I spent a few months recently to find a DM-2 needing some TLC for $170, and a DM-3 in OK condition for $130.

All the really good BIN ones are WAY more than that (expect double for pristine with box and manual).

I am not savvy when it comes to pedals... could you swap a 3205 chip with a 3005?? or would it melt? I know the pedals have different components to change voltage at acertain part... so is it not possible even with a socketed chip?

or instead of melting which wouldn't make sense.. would it not get enough juice to make the correct delay?
