Hi, I've desided to try and bring a seiko tuner back to life that I was given, I have better tuners than this (tu-2, tu12p, korg)but would like to try and learn a bit more while mending.
It's a seiko st600 quartz tuner with a switch for on,off and battery test and a switch for selecting the string you want to tune and a needle scale.
The circuit board had a few cracks in it that I have soldered links over.
I've had the meter over the circuit board and the voltage regulator is working and suplying 5v to the two ICs (a lm358 opamp and a toshiba 9527).
the needle moves when the batery test is selected but not when the tuner is selected.
I have tried the net to try and get some info on the toshiba ic but nothing comes up so would like to know if any of the electronics wizards know anything about them, its a dil package with 16 pins and is marked
TOSHIBA T9527 9206H JAPAN
I am in the process of drawing the circuit out at the moment but the only thing other than resisters and capacitors is the quartz crystal marked as CQ 4.000, is there any way to test this component?
any help greatfully recieved , thanks in advance. |
