I am currently rehousing an Electro-Harmonix Big Muff in a (completely functional) SD-1 pedal. Does anyone know if it's possible/easy to use the Boss buffered switch with a third party circuit board, such as a Big Muff? I want the finished mod to look and feel as much like a Boss pedal as possible (because I like them).

You would have to build the FET switching circuit as well (maybe on a bit of vero board).

Could I use the existing FET switching circuit in the SD-1? I don't need the SD-1 circuit to be functioning after I scavenge bits to re-house the Big Muff.

Make sure the circuit boards fit in the SD1 case, I ran into a roadblock rehousing a Dano Octave Fuzz into a SD1 case, couldn`t get the buffer board to fit cause I wanted to keep and use the Boss momentary switch and not a stomp switch.
