Uncle Bob wanted to see the amp that the controller on my board went to, so I thought I'd go one better & make this thread.
JCM 2000 TSL 60 Head w/ 1960 B cab(dirty channel left)

Epiphone Valve Jr. Head w/ VS412 cab(dirty channel right) what a horrid balancing act!!! *************** HAHA - This just got replaced with another JCM 2000 TSL 60 Head. Now I have to get another 1960B cab. The Epiphone head & VS412 cab will go to the Heil Sound channel. ***************

Valvestate 8008 Head w/ (2) 1966A cabs(clean channels left & right)

Crate Flexwave 15 combo(my home 15w PA for the Heil Sound & my headphone practice amp)

Marshall MS-2(novelty amp)couldn't leave that one out!

Much like my pedalboard, all entries are subject to change at my wildest girlish whim. You promised to show me yours if I showed you mine!!!

Early 70's Musicman HD 130 2X12(the one with the splitter tube in the pre amp) my main amp for many years undergoing some much needed bench time at the moment...

Early 60's Selmer stadium 1x12 15 watt combo...this is a slightly later model to the one used by the beatles in their cavern/hamburg days and when they started to get big.....this thing has a tube rec and had to be heard, sweet little amp.....
I also use a marshall superbass(my main gigging amp at the moment,it's in the van) early/mid 70's no master volume,i've put THD tonebones in the power amp section to let me use EL84's so i can get a vox/marshall hybrid thing going on..i use it with (i think) an old vox P.A cab with a couple of old celestion greenbacks....the cab is very old and the only thing i have to go on is the grill cloth, but it's really solid...... |

My Emery Sound Micro Baby - I usually use it with a Marshall 4x12 Cab instead of the 1x10 Emery Cab.
I do have an old Fender Princeton Chorus but rarely use it.

This is my main amp at the moment, but I have some more, but no pictures. Modded Epi Valve Jr, with an extension 12” Celestion Vintage 30 I have enough volume (and great tone) to be heard above a cooking band.

yup it does sound lovely.... it changes the tone depending on the output tube... mine came with about 6 different output tubes 3 rectifier tubes and three different preamp tubes.

Hi FRANZONI
I have an Beautiful - old original leather, & woven black cloth MusicMan Guitar strap, that would go perfect with your MusicMan 212 HD.
It's from the late 70's I think? I got it, as part payment for repairing a shopping bag full of old faulty, guitar leads, from my then across the road Muso neighbor.
I had to air it out for a weekend, as it smelled of those special medicinal cigarettes he used to smoke.
Very strange guy & partner/wife with strange habit's, remind me & I'll tell you about it some day over a nice red or a few ... Both strange & funny at the same time.
I see if I can post a pic, or PM it to you.
regards Dr. Bob |

nice one Doc....
DeFrag...are you familiar with the blackheart 15 watt combo....? i do get some brochures posted to me from the internet shop i use and i see their retailing the BH 15 for 333 euro which looks pretty sweet considering the spec....were in the process of scaling down our backline so the rack and the powered speaker idea i was going to do is out the window.... i've always enjoyed playing in stereo so two smaller amps will be they way to go,i would be interested in your thoughts on the blackheart and how it has stood the test of time since you got it.....i reckon 15 watts in the smallest i could go without being drowned out by out lunatic drummer.... nah he's really a god mate and an excellent drummer but he does have that john bonham/keith moon streak to him.....especially after some of these... carlsberg is his fav..... |

Nice gear so far guys. Goran, I too, love your Volvo amp. Gotta be the safest amp posted so far. Laurie, do I need to take a trip north and help you drywall & finish your jam room? I've done a fair amount of drywalling & was a painter for 10 years. I'm doing Commercial HVAC installing now.
Take care, T-D |

Ya mon. I couldn't wait for the 15W Handsome Devil so got the 5W Little Giant to hold me over. Its a great complement to the Tiny Terror & perfect for the bedroom/studio (recording).
Blackheart attracted me with their boutique-style hand-wiring, name-brand components, quality cabinet, & down to earth tone. It has in it more than I can give it & hasn't let me down. A step up from Crate to be sure. I spread word of Blackheart every chance I get; hopefully it'll make them some money & push them into even more R&D. They even recommend you mod their amps which is unheard of. So far you can upgrade the turret-board & OT. I'm not sure if you can get them to do it for you as factory-installed options yet but they sound very open-minded in accommodating us tinkerers.
So, I'll probably get the 15W anyway I think I'll even get a tattoo of their logo on my upper quadrant!
Here's the best deal I can find as it includes free shipping, headphones, & cable too. They should hit the streets in Nov: http://www.musiciansbuy.com/Crate-BH15-112-Blackheart-Devil-15-Watt-.html
Do you plan on getting a BH15H/BH112 head/cab or BH15-112 combo?
