Hi all,

I have an LM-2 immediately followed by a CS-2 on my pedal board as part of my bass rig. However, the CS-2 is sucking some tone at the bottom end whereas the LM-2 isn't and sounds just great. Anyone know which components I can change to put some bottom end into the CS-2 to get the tone closer to the LM-2, OR any other suggestions ?

TIA, Phil.

To get more bass through the CS-2 you could try changing C10, C4 and C20 to 0.1uF metallised polyester. Actually, C4 and C20 could probably go up to 1uF with no ill effects.

Hi Stonie

Laurie is right, the CS-2 was not designed to pass the frequencies of a bass guitar.

Changing the input-output and inter-stage coupling caps,
will go a long way towards making this more suitable for bass.

Good Luck.
