Very odd.
$8 S&H for an empty box. Buyer bids $20.50 for an empty box. Buyer posts negative feedback within an hour of close of auction.
What a mess.
Grace and peace,

I guess that we aren't going to find out what the "scam" was until the seller responds to the negative feedback.
I'm really tempted to think that the buyer really though he was getting a PH-3 in the box, but you'd think that the pedal would be sitting next to the box in the photo if that were the case. And the seller isn't being deceitful in the listing, though $8.50 is a bit steep for something that light (good old "shipping and handling" strikes again ).

The same thing happened when the X-box came out. Some one was selling an X-box box and it went up to 100$ and eventhough it is clearly stated in the auction the guy was accused of being a scam artist, etc. What I like about this one though is the description was like 2 sentences, one of them being "this auction os for the box only, no pedal included" and he still was accused of pulling a scam. |

Also amazing that some other guy bid $20 but was outbid by the buyer. That guy must be breathing a sigh of relief now.
The seller is now stuck with less than 90% positive feedback after not doing anything wrong. That must suck big time. |

Now I wonder if the person who bid $20 has now been given a "Second Chance" offer on the box....
I almost bid on it because when I saw the listing's title and then the price it was at when I found it, I was thinking,"H LL YEAH, a steal of a deal on a phaser", but then I calmed down from that excitement, long enough to read the listing description. Thank goodness for common sense and reading skills... |

With 5 ratings he' d be better off starting over...
The buyers properbly didn't realize that anybody could be interested in buying empty BOSS boxes (just bought 4 myself - wife thought I was crazy )
Cheers
