A nice looking DC-2 with the box, but can't you ruin or at least damge the unit by pressing more than one preset at a time? According to the manual it is harmful to the unit...Hopefully the guy who wins this won't wind up with a surprise.

The only possible damage that I could see happening to the pedal would be mechanical, to the switch assembly itself and its ability to unlatch one depressed switch by pushing another. Of course, if you break that your chances of finding a replacement now are virtually nil.

All that the switches do is change two fixed values of resistance that control operation of the LFO (you have adjustable resistances for the rate and depth in a CE-2).

I think the multiple button trick only works with the Roland SDD-320 Dimension D which is the rack mount big brother to the Boss DC-2.
