It was the first effects pedal I bought still have it and was wondering what everyone's impressions of it is.

Mine has the orginal order of "Super Distortion & Feedbacker" on it.

I vaugely remember it sounding like a DS-1, but with the feedback option.

Looked on the bay and not much interest in this vs a vintage DS-1, wonder why that is?

IMO the DF-2 is not a very usable distortion. The pedal sounds more like the PW-2 with a feed back option.
But someone collecting will pay more for the Distortion & Feedback version.
I paid $65.00 for a Feedback & Distortion about 1 1/2 years ago when prices were up higher than they are now.

$65 is damn low. a "Super Distortion" model can sell above $150 in some cases..

People dislike the distortion, but love the feedback option.

I picked up a Distortion & Feedbacker not too long ago for �42. (No box or papers) I really quite liked the distortion from this pedal. The feedback option had me messing around with it for ages. I have a MIT DS-1, and way prefer the distortion on the DF-2.

I don�t like the distortion from DF-2, DS-1 is (to my ears) much better.
But the feedback thing is very nice to play around with, too bad one can�t use it without distortion�

I don't remember it being crap dist. I'll have to bust it out at some point (once I find it).

Anyone know the circut differences btw the DS-1 and DF-2. Why do I think they are simmilar?

I LOVE the DF-2 distortion - it's heavy and cleans up amazingly with my guitar volume - it's WAAAAAY heavier than my DS-1

the feedback feature works great once you get the hang of it
