Do you think boss vintage pedal prices (or ones not being made anymore) will go up, down or stay the same? Just curious on what YOU think.

As I see it the, prices will go sky high
That's good for those who has those pedals and bad for those who are looking to start their collection..

Are more people starting collecting now?? This forum can be the reason for it!
Bossarea: are you noting more visitors to WWW.bossarea, this could be an indicator of more people starting off?
Lets hope things dont get as bad as with TS808....
But I think its more fun to collect Boss-pedals than Ibanez, there are more of them (both models and number of), and the casings are just the same all the way during the years.

The site was first published July 2002. It was moved to the bossarea.com domain around November 2003 but I didn't get any stats until June 2004. Since then it has grown steadily.

My experience is that prices for the rare pedals are going up. The late 80s, early 90s pedals are still cheap.

I know you don't know me and all, but I think it would be pretty cool if you bought a shit load of vintage pedals and sold me some.

When I bought my CS-2 about four or five months ago the going price was around $40. Now when I see one on ebay or in stores they are going for around $79 and up. That's almost a 100% increase! about a year ago PH-2's were going for about $50. Now they are going for around $70! Prices are going up, so start collecting now.
