Hi
I found the BD-2 a bit thin, even though it sounds good. I A-B:d the BD-2 against the OD-3 in a store and found them very similar in sound, however the OD-3 sounded fatter. Apparently (according to the salesman) the OD-3 doesn't cut as much bottom end. Also the tone control on the OD-3 worked better in my opinion. I suggest you try out the OD-3 if it is the "BD-2" sound you are after. Maybe the OD-3 is a cheaper solution as it probably will be harder to hear the BD-2 mods before you buy them.

I don't have one but look into the Analog man mods as well. He does some great work too.

I have the Keeley one and there is a big difference. You can feel it. Worth the funds IMO...

AM vs. Keeley - there is a big difference in volume. As I posted elsewhere, the volume is not a big bonus for me. If I want more vol I'll go to my amp for that.

With the Keeley I have (SD-1), the tone is no better than the AM's SD-1 it's just louder....sometimes twice as loud as any other box on my board which makes that xtra volume totally unuseable.

Just my $0.02
