Hi oobujoobu & Guys
I have posted this over here in the Non-Boss Gear thread so we might have a bit of a discussion about the Digitech Hardwire Series of pedals. Anyone is welcome to pitch in with theier comments & findings.
My good friend Justin & I, were discussion the merits of these just the other day.
My initial question is to oobujoobu, as he is one of the few people, that I seen with a Hardwire pedal, that I can remember.
Please tell us more about the Hardwire pedal. That is on you current pedal board. They are exorbitantly expensive out here in Oz. That is if you can find a local dealer, to demo one.
I have heard mostly good things about them. And they seem to have a lot of smart features.
Did you get the protective cover for the knobs? And is it useful, or a bit of a gimmick?
I have read that they have a DC to DC converter built-in to them, so they run off a slightly higher voltage internally at the PCB.
Thanks for any input, positive or negative.
Regards Dr. Bob |

Hi Dr. Bob - hope everything is ok as I know it's getting hot again where you are - wish Franzoni & I could send you some snow over mate as we've got way, way too much of the stuff.
Anyways, I'm interested in these pedals too and I've got my eye on the CM 2 TUBE OVERDRIVE PEDAL - looks good from the reviews but is quite pricey here at around UK £ 100. Would be great to hear if anyone has had one and what they think of it. |
