Sorry if this subject has been addressed before. I'm pretty sure it has been but I couldn't find it. Well the problem is with the volume boost you get when the bf-3 is on. Is there anyway to fix this?
This never occured with my BF-3 as I can remember. Sure, if you set the resonance rate too high it will definitively "boost" your input volume. But when I used more subtle effects the BF-3 did not increase the signal - as far as I can remember. Maybe I'll test it in the evening...
I've just tested my BF-3 to see how it reacts in more subtle settings. I have to agree that it slightly increases my signal level. But it does it in a way that I welcome!
It's like turning a volume knob from 12:00h to nearly 01:00h, but defintively not a bit more. In my opinion the effect volume is really good. Does your BF-3 react completely different? Give us sound examples if you can!
pepe, yeah my volume jumps pretty noticeably, kind of like you would want for a lead boost, probably a couple of db's. I have read somewhere about adjusting some internal trim pots but I can't seem to find the articles anymore. Thanx for your input.
