I have a Digitech Chorus Factory (CF-7) and when you switch the effect on and off, it doesn't do it instantaneously. You can hear the sound getting cut off for a very short period of time, but still you can notice it.
Do any of you have a CF-7 or any other chorus pedal that does something similar?
I took my pedal to an authorized service center and they told me that even EH choruses do the same thing.

My chorus pedal doesn't do that...and what the service center told you sounds like BS to me, and almost seems like an excuse to not even look at it or work on it. And that would not surprise me as digital technology is looked at as disposable by many of the manufacturers of products. These days most people don't get VCRs and DVD players repaired, they just throw it out and get a new one. That being said, I haven't really messed with any Digitech stuff since their line of double-pedals in the early '90s, but even the chorus I had from them then was pretty instantaneous upon hitting the swithch.

Thanks jack.
I just called Digitech and they said that model has that problem. The guy said they have made some adjustments to the pedal, but that there's not a big improvement.
When I saw those pedals advertised I got really excited and got one as soon as they were put on the market.
My advise to everybody:
Be patient and sober, and try things before you buy them .

yes... i agree with stratosphere thats very bad policy admitting thare is a a problem and not recalling them for a a replacement to a different model...i had some of old the dod pedals back in the day and as i told midibuddy in another post,,,the fx65 stereo chorus i had was pretty good sounding but i find the dod/digitech gear to have a lot of background hiss and it's nowhere near as robust as the boss stuff..... shame on digitech.... but unfortunately that seems to be the way a lot of companies operate these days not only in the guitar market...... cheap labour, quantity and profit over quality and reliability.......of course there is exceptions but you usually find a big price tag attached to whatever your looking at....
