Hi guys,

Is there any difference between the CE-2 Chorus Black Label and Green Label?

The only difference is the label itself.
It was introduced 1984 to announce that the pedal was compliant to FCC regulations.

As far as I know it's really only the age of the pedal that would be the difference between label colours.

As for the sound, i have one of each and to my ears, I can't pick any real difference between them.

Just my 2 cents.

I have heard a rumour that the MIJ CE-2s was more carefully adjusted (trimpots inside) and that some MIT wasnt that good adjusted. I dont know if its true, but I have had both black label and green label MIJ and to my ears they sound the same. Well, theres more mojo to a silver screw

That doesn't sound very likely. The trimming procedure outlined in the schematic is pretty simple and doing a sloppy job takes just as much time as doing it accurately.
