I bought a SD-1 the other day and when i activate the pedal the LED of course comes on, but when I set the pedal to bypass the LED go's dimmer but is still sort of lit up.

is this normal?

How are you powering your SD-1? Battery,
or plug pack, & which type?

If you are using some plug pack.
Does if happen if you use a known good battery?

Thanks for the welcome

Im using a 9volt AC adapter.
Its not the BOSS adapter, but one that I had found.
I havent tried a 9volt battery yet.

There is a guy round here that calls himself BluesDriveMonster. Haven't seen him for a few months.

P.S.
Those old Boss pedals use a ACA adapter. But if you daisy chain it off a PSA pedal like the TU-2 NS-2 with a PSA adapter you'll be just fine.
