I'm gassing for one of these pickups so much! I read about the ToneRiders also, but for some reason I think GHS are better... Has anyone tried both brands? Which one is the best? I want them for my recently acquired Samick Ultramatic... pretty good guitar, and sooo cheap... Does anyone have one of them?

I did a measure on one of the pots, and I think it came stock with 500k, cause I measured the pot at 468k or something...but since I didn't disconnect the pot before measuring, I might be off or totally wrong, but I have heard that they are stock with 500ks...I know the Squier Standards are stock with 500ks, even though they have single coils...I guess I should have measured for sure, but it sounds pretty good...guess I may need to double check for real at some point though...

Fast Eddie finished the guitar a long time ago but I didn't put up the pics

The old pickups

The new pickups and the new roller bridge

The whole guitar

She plays real nice and I really like the coil taps in the tone knobs but sadly it must go back to the shop. The neck pickup quit working in the single coil mode. I don't know if it's the pickup or the wiring, but I had a pro wire it so I'll let him sort it out. I will keep you posted. Promise.

I've used the GFS Vintage Splits in a couple of guitars and they are great... very comparable to the Fender Wide Range 'buckers.

Those Mini-HBs look great too!
