So I just won on ebay a TC Electronic Vintage series dual distortion pedal. http://www.tcelectronic.com/VintageDualDistortion.asp
It looks pretty neat and I've been looking for a two channel distortion pedal for some time. My amp is a Fender Pro Junior and as wonderful as the valve tone is, it's single channel and at 15 watts if I turn it up loud enough for some crunch then I will deafen the neighbours. In the end it was almost entirely the price that persuaded me (£50 on evilbay for a pedal that went for around £200 new) but looking at the features it seems like a wise choice. Although it has two distortion channels they are independent, so you can't have one run into the other, but I didn't really want that anyway - I just want to be able to switch between sounds rather than boost more of the same. I will of course let everyone know how it is when it turns up. Does anyone have any experience with TC Electronic? I just know of them as producers of obscenely expensive multi effect rack units.

Personally I don't have any experience, but I remember reading how Scott Ian of Anthraz was way into one of their pedals, and most of the things I hear about them is good. Nice score...
