Hi
anyone used a GT8 into a 100 Marshall? I am thinking of getting one, but I am not really keen in using the amp sim stuff, but prefer to keep my JCM 800 and JCM 2000 sound and use the distortion of the tubes still.
Love to hear opinions

I moved this to the "other Boss" area.

How about getting an ME-50 instead? Without the amp simulations there isn't much that the GT-8 can do that the ME-50 can't.

what are the effects quality like in comparison? Also is there any cut ofbetween switching effects/patches etc?

oh yeah did you get my msg on the Micro rack Faces?
Also got in all the service manuals and booklets today, so i will try and get some one to scan the RDD-20 one for the forum to download

Never tried any of them so I couldn't say anything about the differences.
Yes, I read the other topic but didn't really have anything to add to it
