i would like to be able to have a setup where i can change from a distortion line to a clean line but using the same amp.
then also be able to have an added boost or overdrive for leads.
what is the best setup for this?
what pedals and in what order?

thanx

Try a PSM-5 Power supply master switch, or the LS-2 line selector. The PSM-5 has a loop in which you could put your distortions or OD's in and when you want to go clean just step on it and it will remove the effects from you signal path. The LS-2 has TWO loops plus level controls for each loop Theorecticly you could set up one loop for clean, and set up the other loop for distortion with a boost from the loop level (I'd put an SD-1 before the LS-2 and use that for a boost). Make sure that you put your delays choruses, and reverbs after these pedals so you don't cut off the delay trails, or the reverberation. Hope this helps. Cheers

Damn, I got beaten to the punch on that one.

I just got the LS2 myself for exactly the same reason.

The NS-2 is also an option. It's got the same looping possibilities as the PSM-5 but with a built in noise supressor.
