guys, is there any BOSS effect that can change the single coil distortion to sound like a humbucker's distortion? i have a fender strat and i really want to achieve that humbucker distortion's sound. which effect you reckon can do that? i'm all ears...

By using PQ-4 it�s possible to come close, but you need to tweak the controls a lot.

Morley distributed the JD-10 made by Award-Session out of the U.K. that provides humbucker emulation for single coils among many other features.

the combo of a PQ-4 to tweak the tone and any overdrive pedal (OD-1, OD-2, SD-1 or BD-2) to boost output and add an 'edge' should do it....

alternately, you could put a single-coil sized humbucker in yr Strat.

I would get one of those single-coil sized humbuckers. I forget who makes them. They're really easy to install.
