Yeah, I was looking for a review about the LBM as well, if I wasn't in the process of building a Muff clone, I'd probably pick one of those up...

I have always wondered about this. Boss has several different overdrive and distortion pedals, yet not even a single fuzz since the FZ-3 production ended in 1999.

It's a real shame that they don't because I prefer fuzz to anything, particularly the Big Muff and my Hyper Fuzz. Also these days they seem to do less 'cool/weird' effects, like the HF-2 and the DF-2, effects that are a bit different to things otehr people make, obviously they still do that to an extent, but not as much as the 80's

aside from there being no current fuzz, the strange thing about the 2 fuzzes is that the first one (FZ-2) was the one with all the features. the later one (FZ-3) was the straight up three knobber.

think there will be a FZ-5? thing is, i dont know where they could go further with the fuzz effect.

Maybe some extra settings on a selector knob like oscillation, octave settings (a la Fender Blender/MXR Blue Box), a ring modulator setting, something overly harsh and grainy, and old school settings, I could go on. Get some ideas together and send them off to Boss, we might even get a Bossarea edition pedal
