What do you say? Isn't time for us to meet. Bring our pedals and have a bossparty for four days somewhere in the world. Make new friends, discuss pedals and of course... look at our collections.
If we start to plan now it is possible in two years. |

Agree in principle 100%
Can't bring the pedal collection though - international transport and customs would be un-manageable. Can bring a couple of good ones and lots of pics though...
Japan is cool, but maybe somewhere cheaper? ;-)

Like sweden, that will fit my empty... after buying all these pedals. Nice idea. Would be fun. I will definently give it a try, even if its in japan.

Or maybe a European Summit, An American Summit and an Asian Summit..
And the real hardcore members could go for all 3
Cheers |

On line summit maybe?????? Hmm????? Vid cams are cheap. We'd just need a server somewhere. |

Virtual summit on-line - great idea - no need to go under the other half's radar and sneak out with a suit-case full of pedals and an air-ticket to Japan |

I do not like that idea.. I want to put faces on people like DeFrag.. What on earth could he look like?
We do not have enough members from asia that it is possible to arrange something there. I think we have two choices. America or Europe. We could have two summits. One in each, but possible to visit both.. |

I'm up for somewhere "central" and a face-to-face meet... with beer
Maybe Ireland? Dublin is a FANTASTIC place for music and beer, and less than 10 hours flight away for North America.
Or even NYC (the outskirts anyway to keep the cost down)... Flights from Europe to NYC are cheeeeeeeeeep.

I agree. When I played Quake, a guy from work & myself flew down to Vegas for a clan-party. Its really, really cool putting faces on your online friends. If we did something like this, it should be geographically centered around the majority of people planning to attend. I don't think I'm willing to fly but I'd vote Seattle or my house. (I'll bring the beer)
Here's dead DeFrag that washed up on the beach the other day.. http://www.hoax-slayer.com/images/tampa-sea-monster-1.jpg
Or the real deal: http://gamefreaks.net/defrag/carbon_pi/graphics/me.jpg |

We could do a "willing" list. People with the will to fly, not to fly, etc.. We could probably come up with some great idea.
I think that Bossarea is the one with the most powerful vote.. |
