I have seen something similar to this before.
Technical guess: it's a 500K to 1M Log pot in a box, that basically becomes Like a Master Volume control, for a non master amp.
Oh & a fancy Name & Label.

Would love to throw that in the effects loop, but no idea if its gonna ruin anything.
I have seen this before. It's designed for the effects loop. I was going to get a similar one for my Peavey Classic 30, but I just use a low Impedance volume pedal instead. I have some pedals in the loop as well so I put the volume pedal on the effects return side, at the end of the pedal chain in the loop. I works great! I can crank the amp up and get the el84 power tubes to distort and still not offend the neighbors. |
