I got it from musicgoround.com I was looking for a CHEAP GE-7 to mod and then sell (thanks to Mr. Tax Man.... ), and this was advertised as the LED was not working, and that was it. Requested a back pic, and saw that it had a black label, and bought it immediately, thinking either it is a MIJ, or an old MIT with Japanese components.
Got lucky!
Don't know if I want to mod it or not. It's all original, missing one of the "rubbers" for a fader. But the bigger question is do I want to sell or not?
What do you guys think? Mod or NO mod?

I would say no mod, I think that will bring the collectors value down a lot. Awesome deal by the way! |

My GE-7b also came dirt cheap (25 euros) with a non working LED, a simple wire across the broken pcb trace cured it. |

| I would fix the led and get a rubber and sell it. and find another pedal, that pedal is worth more working unmodded |

I'm with Zerks, when they reach a certain age I respect they're original design. Althouh I have no problem replacing the electro caps if it doesn't sound right, it's up to you Merv, have fun! |
