Did a search, but no luck. Is it possible to buy replacement knobs for older Boss pedals? I have a HM-2 that's missing a couple knobs and would love to replace them...

You can usually get replacement parts from Roland/Boss if you email them - Price and availability seems to depend on the country you're in: I'd imagine they're both pretty good in the States.

You can often find suitable knobs in general electrical/electronic stores - I got replacements for the larger knobs of my OC-2 in Maplin in the UK: They look identical to the original Boss parts...

Go to "knobs" menu -- he carries them for every effect you can imagine -- I actually replaced my stock Boss knobs on my BD-2 and TR-2 with larger one's so I could see/move them easier on a dark stage.

The HM-2 has orange-topped black knobs.. they may be hard to duplicate exactly. BOSS still sells the right size, maybe not the right colour.

I actually did pick up a 4-pack of the "big knob" BOSS uses @ my local Radio Shack (as Laurie suggested, they were on clearance) for a buck!

I've bought broken Boss pedals off eBay, pulled the knobs for myself and then re-sold the broken pedal on eBay. So far, it's been the cheapest way to get replacement knobs and I get all original parts.

can't lose... these pedals will by culled just like at the pick'n'pull on barlow trail eh, Laurie... I am thinking this is a good way to get parts you need... even score a case for your own project! Great solution, dcross02

footnote, the knobs at radioshack (larger for the CE-2, TR-2 etc) look like the boss knobs but they have a slight taper in from the bottom skirt to the top, the boss factory knobs have NO taper at all.
