Look at what i found in a pawn shop today

$20.00

anyone fond of these..

do they serve their purpose..i have got it hooked up in my current setup and seems to do fine

what did these go for new

and when did they stop making them

they are not in a 2007 catalog i have

what took their place if anything

Nice one. $20 is a great price.
The PSM-5 was made up until the end of 1998. The NS-2 and LS-2 are the two pedals that comes closest to it. Both has all the functionality of the PSM-5 + more but the PSM-5 can still do the job it was designed for so I won't call it obsolete.

how exactly doe sthe PSM-5 work as far as turning off 2 or more pedals at a time

it says more than two effects can be simultaneously switched on or off

i have it hooked up to my chain just like it says in the book

when i disengage the PSM-5 all of my other pedals led's are still on

just bypassed..
