If the paint job is destroyed, probably not. More like 35 Euro. Most added paint comes off Boss pedals - just needs careful application of paint thinner. The Boss paint is "powder coat" so is extremely tough. Depends on the added paint though... so don't quote me on that.
Yes....never had a CE-3 but but my jap CE-2 is great....if your a collector maybe better of holding out for a cleaner pedal but if your planning on using this sucker grab it..offer 35 and see what happens.....
you want the sound. use the bad paintjob to bargain a low price. if you don't like it, you won't lose the money - if you like it ... you may find yourself awake longer at night on eBay or whatnot!!! good luck!
PS I found a CE-2 at a pawnshop for $59.00CAD with extra holes drilling the back so the i/o was all on the sampe panel as the power receptacle. I regret not buying it for the sound. that would have been about 30Euros.
I've thought about picking up a CE-3 just to try it out. They are selling really cheap... like $35-$50. But then I remember that I hate Chorus and Flanger pedals, and save the $50 for something better.
