| okay, I went for a DD-3, not a big-chip version of course, that would've been too good. A straightforward and simple delay thus was the choice. I'm expecting it soon in my mailbox, so I'm very curious. Thx for all your advice. I'll let you guys now when I gave it a test run ;) |

| Belated response, but those RDDs are great. The tone knob lets you dull the cripsness that's often complained about with Boss DDs, and its got modulation, so you can use it as a chorus, flanger, tape echo simulator, whacky sci-fi sound generator. The delay time can also be controlled by an EV-5, which gives you sounds somewhat akin to DJ scratching with fast sweeps, or tape winding sounds with slow sweeps. If I saw a RDD-20 I'd jump on it immediately... |

i use two dd3's in my setup if you are looking for a simple delay with a good balance between analog and digital the dd3 is the way to go... there is even a thread on this site for a mod to make the sound dirter like a analog pedal if thats what you want....i think its in the tech area.....  |
