No mention yet of Charlie Christian...a true pioneer, the first known to actually use an electrified guitar(Gibson ES-150) in a band setting.
Not mentioning him just because of that...he was quite the guitarist, along with Eddie Lang before him(on an acoustic L-5). |

I'd like to see some people from Stax or Motown on the list. They've been quite influential, but nobody knows them.
- Melvin 'Wah Wah Watson' Ragin (My papa was arolling stone - wah guitar) - Charles Pitts (Theme from Shaft - Wah wah guitar) - Steve Cropper (Guitar player on nearly every Stax song)
