Keep looking, they pop up quite regularly on Ebay (look on ebay.de), the trick is to find one at a reasonable price.
The CLS-22 is almost identical, it just has less stereo output options. They're usually cheaper. It helps to get a pedal for the Dynacord so you can ramp the effect - it is very simply constructed inside though, you could make your own pedal if required.
I've lost a lot of auctions, usually because I'm after more than one item, and when it gets down to the last few minutes I start having doubts about what item I really need. It helps me to concentrate on one item alone, maybe even bid a bit more than I feel comfortable with. If I'm not willing to do that then I usually find I lose (unless I'm really lucky).

nice one guirat.. thanks... ..i had a post in the non boss discussion part of the forum about my hunt for a rotary sim and i was originally looking for a pedal..but i read such great reports about the dynacord and i found a page with some sound samples of it ..i thought it sounded great..i was really looking forward to getting my hands on it and it had the original footswitch as well.... i'll check out the german ebay for one.....
pedals4pv.....you said it 'bro one of the b*****ds dropped out at 130 and beat me by 6..it went for 156 in the end..this also happened to me on a M.I.J bf2 a couple of years ago..i'm not a big ebayer 'cause i'm not a collector ..i really only go on to look for something specfic so i'm not wise in the ways of the dreaded evilbay...maybe next time i'll be the sniper.... in some ways it's my own fault 'cause i put in my max bid at 150 i should of went to about 200 'cause i reckon they would of lost interest at around 160...it jumped from 122 to 156 in seconds to be honest i was in a bit of shock....you live and learn..... |

WOW calculator looks cool! Nice collectors piece.
I've been snipped heaps of times but at the end of the day you just have to bid what you are prepared pay. I've beaten snipers this way too, when they are not prepared to pay as much as you are!!! It's all about the $$$$! |

| I have sniped and have been out-sniped many times. It is all part of the ebay experience. The trick is to remain patient and keep looking for and bidding on the item you want. Eventually you will win and will get it at a good price. |

No problem, I'd actually recommend going to ebay.de then doing a 'europa' search. I've seen some from Austria, Swizerland, and I got my one from Holland. As long as it's 220V (though I think you can switch something inside if it's a 110V, but don't count on it. You could always get a convertor). Was it the modezero.co sound sample page? That's a great one for examples.
I edited my original post because I'd said that the price it went for was quite low (I saw the auction but didn't bid on it). My comment didn't read as I intended so I edited it, but my point was just to say that they usually go for more, 200 or even 300 for a mint one, so you might have to be prepared to pay more (or if you have the patience you could wait it out for another bargain). |

yes it was modezero where i heard the samples..i wouldn't have minded going to about 200..i would of probably baled out around the 250 mark if it had of being heading towards the 300 mark 'cause by the time i convert it into euro... thats the danger of the uk ebay for me as it's easy to get carried away and trying to keep up in the mind what it works out at in euro plus shipping.... i know they are quite rare and supposed to be a very good unit...we use a dynacord desk in the band for live work and if thats any yardstick to go by the cls 222 must be quality as well...once again thanks for the heads up on ebay germany..i'll keep my eyes peeled.... |

Hi Franzoni
Is there any chance, that you might be able to compare it with the COSM UniVibe emulation in the Boss PW-10 wah pedal?
I would be really keen to see some hi-res pics of the internals, if you ever manage to get time.

| I hate getting sniped, though more times I am usually the sniper, than the snipee, so its probably a case of what goes around comes around. I'm the type of guy who bids with 30 seconds or left to go, if its something I really want or need. If its something that it would just be cool to have for a decent price, I may place a bid when there are 12-24 hours remaining. |

ya like jack said, really the only time you will get sniped is if its on an item that you just kinda throw a bid out on and if you win, cool. anything i really want to get i will win because im willing to pay more. i NEVER bid on any gear until the last minute though.
some of the best wins ive had were on "just throwin it out there bids." such as a mint SD-2 for $36 and MINT boxed LM-2 for $32. both in the same week i just kinda woke up in the morning and saw "you need to pay for one item!" |
