The pedal is any Wah pedal, check that link I put up above, you can see a scan of the actual page from the book with that "Search Inside" function.
For some reason Amazon say they don't recognize my account so they won't let me see it. They were happy enough to recognize it yesterday when I ordered more than 100 pounds worth of stuff.

Ahh... they have finally recognised you are a dangerous subversive who needs to have their access to sensitive information restricted
i remember using a *cough* CASSETTE TAPE RECORDER for an amplifier by setting it in record mode and jamming a little mic in the sound hole of my acoustic guitar.
with complete electrical isolation, I created a wonderfully lush distortion.
My first amp was an old turntable with a built in amp ....i wired one end of a guitar lead into the output section after several attempts of prodding around inside until i got it to work.....(i also managed to blow the fuse for all the sockets in the house a couple of times as well) i had the other end with the jack input for the guitar so i could play along with the records..... then after a while i got a few of those little noisy boxes.... i remember my mother asking me why the noisy ones always seem to be bright yellow or orange........

Ha! Me too! It was a "radiogram"... had these tube things inside it. No idea what the brand was. Rigged up an input to it so I could "play" along (where "play" = random noise most days!)
