On my pedal board (The Furman SPB-8), I have two rows of pedals. I put the ones I use most often in the front, and the ones I use least in the back. Even though I use the ones in the back less, I still like to use them live, but they are a pain to reach. I actually almost fell over trying to reach my delay pedal one time at a show. I was pretty drunk, so maybe that had something to do with it, but I wouldn't have done that if the pedal was easier to reach. I'm thinking of maybe putting some small pieces of wood on the back row of my pedalboard, the wood would be velcroed onto the actual pedalboard itself, and then the pedals in the back row would be velcroed to the wood. Just wondering if anyone else encountered this same problem with thier pedalboards when playing live.

| Switch the Delay or Looper with the EQ & route appropriately. I'd probably stomp them more often than the EQ. You might try http://www.ernieball.com/products/plugs/ Male-Male #6329 plugs to squeeze them together & save space as necessary when your configuration changes. |

Thanks Defrag, that's not a bad idea switching the delay and the eq. For you others, cheers. |

drinkings all good until you trip over your guitar strap, knock over a stand of 3 guitars, fuck up the amp casing, break off chords in the amp, fuck up the wall and poster, and end up lying down across your inline pedal chain
but i guess you wont have that problem...so drink on
and btw...true story...happened to me... i learned my lesson now though...watch where i step when im drinking and playing |
