Is that sausage in between the two layers of bacon? That'd be great if you could rig it up when camping.... when the grease level is permitted.
The "Two Fat Ladies" would have approved (everything wrapped and rolled in bacon). |

The Bacon-wrapped Water Chestnuts are good too. >Wrap halved water chestnuts in 1/3 or 1/2 thick bacon slice, secure with toothpick (I like to soak mine in water first), marinate in Teriyaki, bake or broil until the bacon is done.
Several popular recipes call for a Ketchup/brown sugar sauce but I haven't tried that.

I took a 200 lb. Russian Boar with a bow a few years back while on a hunt up in Maine. Aside from the ribs, and the meat I had made into sausage, the rest of it was way too gamie. I didn't like it at all and ended up tossing most of it out. |
