thought i'd give a quick update.

so I reinstalled c24, and removed c25. the pedal sounds MUCH better now. I also changed c36 back to stock. lastly, I set up the 3-position switch to have and LED + stock diode, no diodes, and both stock diodes. the LED side lowers the gain a little, but adds some volume and makes the sound a little crunchier. I like both sides. the middle position makes it sound like a broken fuzz face or something lol.

all-in-all, i've done about half the keeley mods, and half the allums mods. i still don't like the sound of the pedal too much. i wouldn't say it's better or worse than stock, just a different animal. while the tone has become a lot more "open", the high end has become very fizzy. anyone got some fizz fixes?

I went through this with my MT-2... it's a tough beast to tame with a mod. I ended up with MOSFET clippers. Best overall IMHO.
