Hi there, I just pulled my old CS-3 out of the pox it has been living in for the last year or so and it seems to be a poorly pedal indeed. If anyone can give me an idea where to look to start fixing this i would be grateful. I am pretty handy with a soldering iron and can read schematics.
The symptoms are:
* The power LED does not come on. * Bypass works * when engaged, sustain turned down and guitar picked hard it sounds ok BUT if i turn the sustain up or allow the notes to ring it starts to produce a hard fuzz (hard clipped)
I have got to believe it is for, some reason, overpowering one of the op-amps or something.
