What purpose do LEDs serve in the internal circuitry of effects pedals? I've seen some modified pedals where some diodes are replaced with LEDs too....why is this?
As explained in the Boss book, the number 4 is unlucky in Japan, kinda like number 13 in other countries. So therefore they skipped it, except for the PQ-4.
Didn't they take the poor sales of the PQ-4 as a kind of confirmation of the superstition? Hey, if it makes mine more desirable, then sure!
