I just picked up a clean MD-2 today. It had the box, and was only $35 so I said "why not"!!! I like the mean growl it has, but it seems to hiss a lot, and feedback (micro honic) very easily. Gets real bad the more you add gain/ boost to it. Even with the gain off and the distortion at 75%, it wants to squeal at any decent volume. I am using my Les Paul Standard, so I know it is not the pick ups.
Any thoughts? Typical? Did I get a dud? Thoughts on the pedal in general? |
