A local guy was selling his entire pedal board..He wanted to sell the whole thing in one shot, pedalboard included, but I couldn't afford it, nor did I want/need all of them..So I picked out four of them and he finally agreed to split the pedalboard and sell me just the four I wanted/needed..I picked out and bought:

DC-2 (Dimension C)
PH-1r (Phaser)
PS-3 (Digital pitch shifter/Delay)+ Boss foot controller

And one Ibanez, the AD-9 (Analog Delay)

I'm very happy to have acquired the DC-2..That pedal is hard to find in this area!

Pic he supplied, which shows the pedals I got:

Hi Krall

Nice haul.
They all look very MINTY too.

The AD9,even as a reissue is worth a heap,
well out here it is. about $249au for the reissue.

It has the same chip-set & BBD as the Boss DM-2, that everyone gushes over.

Do you know if it's an 80's or a reissue? (looks like the reissue to me, from the pic.)

I can't seem to find the DC-2 it's also elusive here in OZ.
I hope you got it all for a good price?

Regards Dr. Bob

I think the AD9 is 80's..How can I tell the difference?

Hi Krall

By the serial Number,
& there is something inside the battery cover, on the main housing, that says MAXON.

Post the Serial Number, & I will send it to my friend that collects, & is a guru on Ibanez series pedals.

Regards Dr. Bob

Will do, thanks! The seller didn't specifically say it was vintage, but that they were all older..They're being shipped to me, so i'll give you the ser. number once it arrives.

Ok..The pedals arrived..

The Ibanez pedal had it's back info defaced because of added velcro, so I don't know the serial number. I opened her up and has the JRC 4558D chip in it. Pot are "Alps" with number 531G stamped on them..Would this help? No mention of "Maxon" anywhere and "Ibanez" stamped on the green pc board.

The PH-1r Phaser was produced in March 1983
The DC-2 Dimension C was produced in June 1986
The PS-3 Digital Pitch Shifter/Delay was produced in February 1994

Now here's the odd thing..I just checked the entry for the PS-3 and it says it was sold from March 1994 to January 1999..Since mine was produced in Feb. '94, this would certainly make it one of the first ones made prior to being shipped, I assume?

I just want to mention that the PS-3 is whacked!! Although I only played with it for about 30 minutes, the ethereal sounds coming out of that box made my guitar sound like a lush movie soundtrack synth at certain settings..Awesome!

Are you the Krall in Canada who bought my GE-7 a year or so ago?

I'm coveting your DC-2. That's one pedal I never should have sold.
