This is my first pedal, I bought it off ebay used. It's a overdrive/distortion pedal. I'm concerned that the pedal is a dud because when the pedal isn't on (the check light off) my amp gets absolutely no signal. I'd like to be able to switch between clean and distorted but I have to unplug the pedal to do that. I'm sure this isn't how it was designed. Should I get a refund... or is there a way to fix this?
