Sorry it didn't work out the first time.. But now they have to fix it right!

I think you could probably swap out the pots yourself without too much trouble... I switched all the internals on a strat-type guitar with just a few basic wrenches and a solder joint or two. And I'm no electronic engineer like a lot of these guys around here.

I've seen an article on shielding for Fenders somewhere on the web, and the fellow just puts down a nice layer of heavy aluminum foil in the body cavity with a ground wire to the right spot. I will try and find that article for reference.

They said a part of the jack needs soldering, they said they could provide me with a guitar for my music exam next week should it not be ready in time. I think I'll have that SG Standard...

Hey Laurie, almost a week to fix a solder joint on a 6.5mm guitar Jack.
Considering they stuffed it up...

Man are you & me in the WRONG part of the electronics business?

We need to open up franchises all around the globe.
