| I will admit that the OS-2 is kinda hard to set up right. the good tones lie in the middle reagon of the color knob |

| I just got a CE-3 MIT. It sounds like my CH-1, only a little more shimmery. The wierd thing is that the label on the back says MIT, but it has the old ACA power jack (MIJ Style)that is not flush with the case. did they use these after they moved to Taiwan? |

Yes, they used these for a while after moving to Taiwan. As a matter of fact I have a green label Taiwan CE-3 just like yours. My Black label Taiwan OC-2 has the same power jack too. |

Ok, Thank you for the info. I wasn't sure if they kept using them or if someone had replaced the backplate. Other than that it sounds really good. I got it for $35. It said that it had a dim light on it but when i tried it out with a power adapter the light came on nice and bright. I guess they tried it out with a battrey that was going dead. Their loss, my score. I always seem to find really good finds at that store. The clerk said that because the area is kinda high buck and snobish, that most ppl are on the lookout for Boutique pedals. Not old Boss pedals. |

| A lot of the casings (and therefor the jacks) were kept the same during the transition to Taiwan and afterwards. Actually, isn't the SD1 still using that same style jack? |

| I never noticed that before but yes, my SD-1 (~2002) still has the same 9V jack. |

| Yeah, I thought so... I have about four or five MIT from various years and two Japanese. All of them have the old style jack. |

| Well, the SD1 still has the same internal circuitry as it always did, so could it be possible that we can use the jack as an indication that the has been a change of some kind? Possibly. The MIJ DS1s have the old jack, but the (current) MIT DS1s have the new jack. I'm curious as to whether there are any others like this. |
