My son calls & tells me that the DD-5 I gave him is intermittently spittin' & cutting out. Of course upon inspection I find a nearly dead battery & subsequently he discovers a possible bad cable.. you know the one.. braided cloth sheathing that acousticians like to play with.
I once installed a whole new set of emg's in my guitar, after pluggin it in, it didn't work so I started all over again. Then I found out it wasn't plugged in right (had to push very hard) the first time I tried the guitar
