Has anybody here used one with guitar? I've started screwing around with my old Les Paul copy and I'm having trouble getting modes 10 & 11 to sound like much of anything, really... Should I run it before or after distortion?

I keep playing around with it, but it's beginning to feel a bit like

cheers,
chris/bass/idoru

Try a compressor before the SYB-3 to even out the level of your strings and give the pedal a more consistant signal to work with. Also to give your signal a boost. That might work. By the way, I checked out your web site. And you kind of look like my old bass player. Only taller and thinner.

If I dont remember wrong no 10-11 are pretty useless on guitar.
SYB-3 is a very nice noice-toy anyway, both with guitar and bass.
Used with phaser and delay, for instance, you could create very special sounds.
It dont respond well for everything above the 12th fret on the B and E strings.
