Hi guys this is going to be my first post here in this forum, BTW i'm Jay from the Philippines...anyways i'm experiencing some chorusy type noise(CE-20 turned off) when i'm using my distorion pedal, i noticed that the noise is coming from the CE-20 cause when i'm changing the pedals RATE and the panning of the blue LED becomes faster/slower the chorusy noise too becomes faster/slower, it's not noticeable if i'm playing but if i'm not it's annoying...any suggestions?
BTW here's my pedal board's setup

Hi j3yps (Jay)
Welcome to the forum from Australia.
I see you to have/run your own forum?
In your setup, you fail to mention, how you are powering all of your setup, or which supply you are using.
We have seen many cases, where there is interaction & digital noise from switching type plug packs that are used to power Boss Dual pedals.
And especially when are trying to run more than one win pedal from one of these switching type plug packs or bricks.
And you may also be using an Unregulated type power adapter, & it's actually the 50 or 60Hz mains Hum that is getting into your pedals. High gain pedals, like distortion & overdrive, are very susceptible to this type of Hum from unfiltered-Unregulated supplies.
The current rule of thumb, here on the forum is, if you have a twin pedal, you should probably have it on its own supply.
Remember that when you bypass a pedal, the power is still powering up the internal electronics.
I hope this clears some things up?
Please let us know which type of power supply you are actually running this all from?
Regards Dr. Bob |

Hi j3yps
You never mentioned what brand, or what type of power supply you are using. It helps the other members here, in case we see this problem again.

| I'm using a DIY(not by me) power supply to power them all..Like what you've said when it come to twin pedals(Boss') it's better to have it's OWN power supply... |

| FWIW, when my CE-20 was working, I had noise similar to what j3yps was describing, even when powered by its own Boss adapter. |
