Hi all,
I'm a 45 year old newbie (still learning chords!) and I've got an OD1 and a BF2 to plug into the Vox Pathfinder. They're both MIJ ; the OD1 was given 2 us with our Super-Sonic and I've just bought the flanger 4 NZ$70 (about US$45).
Any general advice about settings etc would be appreciated- what order should they be in?
And what does the "man" dail do on the BF2?
Cheers!
A.

Hi, and welcome to the site.
A good place to start is the manuals. They can be downloaded from http://www.rolandus.com/mojo/manuals.aspx.
It's usually better to place distortion pedals in front of modulation effects like the Flanger but there's no rule so try it both ways and see what you like best.

Hi. the "man" dial lets you manualy adjust the sweep of the flanger, but if you max out the depth control the manual control is taken out of the circut. and wellcome to the site.

Greetings!
I love the site.
I too, have a bf-2 question.
I have a mij bf-2 that I got in 1981, that I hve just returned to my pedal line up. Lost the manual, and the BOSS site is not offering them currently.
Would love help with settings. Also a placement question...
Should the bf-2 go before my ce-5 or after?

Thank you.

Hi again,
thanks for the welcome and the info.
the OD1 & BF2 sound great together, now we're thinking of getting a harder distortion pedal and a delay :-)!
Maybe a MT2 and DD2? Opinions?
Cheers!
