What is the best song/piece of music you have ever heard? In my case: 21st Century schizoid man King Crimson

That's a tough question... It's pretty hard to narrow it down, but since this is a (mainly) guitar based forum, I'll have to go with a melodic guitar song:
Little Wing by Hendrix (the other versions aren't as good IMHO) |

Maybe not the best song ever. But I have a soft spot for
Bridge of Sighs - Robin Trower.

If were sticking with strictly guitar based songs..i would have to say 'Machine Gun' by Hendrix...i love the univibe at the start with the whole blues based feeling to the song.. and the live version is the best.... |

It's a cover by the swedish death-metal band Entombed.
I like it very much and the original too |

I was about to type in 'Bridge of Sighs' and another Doc got there first!
With you Dr. Bob - sometimes Robin Trower can make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up with one single note. |

And ....their "Swedish death-metal sound" is based on a boss DS-1 and (for the most part) on a HM-2
So it kind of all comes together in this song
