I would say also Muse, Empire of the Sun and the Killers as very good contributions to this year's releases.

Empire of the Sun haven't released an album this year... Which is good for me because I don't like them Annoyingly, they are very popular here in Australia... Aparrently I'm a minority

I don't think the Killers have released an album this year either... I just missed seeing them in the Dominican Republic by 2 days last month. *sigh*... that would have been awesome.

Favorite Albums of 2009:

Masters of Reality- Pine/Crossed Over

Saviours- Accelerated Living

The 69Eyes- Back In Blood

Dethklok- DethAlbum II

The Killers Live at Royal Albert Hall DVD

I actually cannot remember a lot of stuff that came out this year because I spent a good portion of it tracking down and buying older CDs from The Hellacopters, Backyard Babies, and TAD this year...

Films - haven't viddied a moving picture in years...they usually don't show snuff films in my local theatre so I don't bother w/ it

Albums - Astra - S/T
Coldworld - Melancholie
Arckanum - ppppppppppp
Iron Man - I Have Returned

Biggest Disappointment - no new albums from Impaled Nazarene, Witchcraft, or Graveyard!

Well, that's them for now anyway....
