This has been up before, but since it was some time ago I think its an interesting thing to speculate about; What will be the future Boss collectibles, the ones that now isnt considered as it?
I see some that are beginning to be sought after like SD-2 and FZ-2/3. They are quite good pedals and if not rare at least not common. I also think early Taiwn DS-1, with the original op-amp, will rise prise wise. DD-5, the brown bass pedals..AX

The PS-3 caught me out with a steep price hike when I went after one but I think they've always been reasonably collectable.
I know this isn't pedals but I've really noticed the prices of the micro-rack units climbing (RCE-10, etc) - they are looking more collectable now. |

My experiences with Ebay tell me that they dropped in price, i sold five BF-2's this year, the first ones did about 65 euro's and it the last one last week went for only 38 euro.
HM-2 is a remarkable riser, when i started collecting Boss pedals you could easily pick these HM-2's up for 15 euro, nowadays most of them are about 45 to 50 euro.
SD-2 is an underestimated pedal, i see a lot of mods done to them to make them useable for bass. I don't think it is really sought after (yet?) and still can be picked up for cheap.
DD-5 is becoming a collectors item, no doubt about it.
CE-5 analogue version is a rare bird too, i can't seem to find one, especially with box and manual.

you think? I'm not sure, since it has less features than DD-7, which looks like 'version 2' of it. DD-5 and DD-2 are very different to their respective sucessors, that's not the case with DD-6. |
