Hey everyone. A few months ago i made a pedal board case out of an old drill case. It was good but it only held three pedals, so i started making this one. I lost interest and ended up buying a Behringer PB1000. But i realized i wouldn't want allll those pedals if i was just jamming with my friend, so i finished it!

I folded it all out of sheet aluminum, its 700mm X 190mm by about 100mm. And its not that heavy because its made of aluminum which is kinda light. I made the board part on an angle because i like it that way, and i made the lid detachable for gigs.

I still have my Behringer set up at home but i think ill use this for gigs and stuff because its a little more practical.

The best part about it? It cost nothing! Made it at work and used all their materials

Cheers, Jake.

Now that's pretty sweet!

I hope there's plenty of clearance for those rivets.

Thanks guys! Yeah there is plenty of room for them.
I cut out slots for the pedals to sit in, and put foam on top so when its shut, they don't move one little bit!

I myself was actually surprised how well it turned out

Awesome! Where's the power source? And how did you attach the pedals? Would it survive harmless to a flight? I'm thinking on getting a hard case to replace my gator bag, fitting the pedal board inside and using lots of foam. I'll make my debut next month...

Mansun, The power source is just a normal power supply plugged into the TU-2, then daisy chained, supplying power to the rest of the pedals.

The pedals are not really attached, ive cut out slots in the foam for the pedals, then i stuck loads of foam on the inside of the lid, so they don't move at all, even when i pick the case up and shake it up and down they still don't move.

So i think it would survive a flight pretty well. I would prefer if it was lockable though...

You should make your own Its much more satisfying
Cheers

Hi hateandwar

I showed this to a few of my muso mates, they loved it!

Said you better watch out, that BehringClone don't try to clone it as one of theirs.
One of them said it would look really cool with a:
DANGER EXPLOSIVES warning sticker on the outside...

Is that the MT-2 that came for a short holiday to my place?
Looks pretty happy in it's new home.

How do you use your PS-5 Super shifter?
I have a new one in a box, thanks to a good friend, but I haven't taken it out for a test drive yet...

Regards Dr. Bob

Thanks Joske and Bob

Haha that sticker would be nice, might have some trouble going through an airport though!!

Indeed that is my baby, the MT2 he loves his new pedal board. Loves the foam, said its real comfy haha.

My super shifter? Most the time i use it for harmonies, mainly for Wolfmother/Led Zeppelin riffs.

These are the settings i use :

I set the balance to about 1 oclock, i set the speed all the way clockwise, i set the pitch to the 2nd setting (going clockwise) and mode to harmonist.
I dont put the H.R key knob to anything because i dont think it does anything in this mode.

Sometimes ill set it t t.arm mode for a bit of fun, since most my guitars dont arm trems on them

Hope this helps
Cheers
