Hi! I think you're tired of this questions (about this delays), but everyone has own opinion. I want to buy either DD-5 or DD-6 or DD-7. I like a lot of DD-7 options & i really like Hold option with 4o sec. But i heard that the DD-7 is very noisy. I that is true, i would prefer DD-5 or DD-6 (because much options than DD-5, but only if it's not very noisy). One says DD-7 Great & Another says DD-7 - bad & noisy. Thanks... Forgive me for my bad English. |

| I know) But Different between DD-5 & DD-6 not only Reverse, DD-6 has longer delay etc. I want to know how noisy DD-7 compared to DD-6 & DD-5, & what would better between Quality/Functionality (Fetures)/Noise Level... |

DD20. You'll (probably) never need another delay. Soooo much more versatile than the DD2,3,5,6, or 7 |

YEah, i know & that's what i want to know - why? I read that the DD-6 has more qualified details & it has to be less noisy. And i read opposite opinions. I like DD-7 if it's not reall noisy... |

| Lots of comments about noisy DD-7's, but mine is dead quiet and rock solid. |

| most people like the 5 cause it had more features then the 6. I think they made up for the 6 buy makeing the 7 with feature of both the 5 and 6 and adding extra. I have tried out the 7 and was not to happy with it.I am a simple player and i prefer the 3 most of all |

I have a DD-6 and I really like it. I think it sounds good, and has good features. The warp feature is really cool on it, and it has integrated tap tempo. I can't speak for the DD-5 and DD-7, but I would also like to know why people like the DD-5 so much? If you want Analog delay sounds or want to be able to loop phrases, you pretty much have no choice but to get the DD-7. Have you read the reviews on www.harmony-central.org? They may be helpful for you.

DD-20 all the way! You really won't need another delay. I also have an analog delay going into the DD-20 for more craziness.
Do it! |

| DD-2 or a long chip DD-3...because they sound superbadass...kinda midway digital/analog sounding...not a fan of digital delays myself but those two are the shizznite! |

Ok, Thanks to All! How DD-7 can sounds different?) They are all MIT...etc... I think it's depend on which amp (you're have), guitar & specific of all pedalboard. Or it's factory defect. OR it's depends on everyone needs, someone suit any pedal (just it has to be pedal effect), another need a quality effect. In my city i can't listen DD-5, DD-6 & DD-7, only a DD-7 in stores. I read Harmony-Central & watched YouTube, but it's not a 100% guarantee... |

quote: I dont think there is much difference between the DD-5 and DD-6, people seem to like the DD5 but maybe it's because you can't buy it anymore... The DD6 has better quality capacitors in it so it should sound better. The high cut mod sounds a little better in the DD6 than the DD5. The DD5 external tap tempo switch is easier to use, but the DD6 has longer delay time and does not need the KILL switch... tradeoffs which should let you decide which would be best for you
